Ornamo Foundation Grants 2025
The application period for Ornamo Foundation Grants will open on 1 June 2025. The grants are intended for Ornamo members' own projects or working groups. The recipient of the grant must be a member of Ornamo. There is no specific theme in this year's grants, but grants can be applied for different types of projects.
The rules of the different funds are followed in the distribution of grants, respecting the terms and conditions defined by the donors.
GRANTS
General Fund
- two €5,000 IITTALA grants for material-based design and arts and crafts
- two grants of €3,000
Mirja Tissari Fund
- one grant of €3,000 awarded to a member of The Finnish Association of Textile Artists TEXO
Eeva and Maija Taimi Fund
- one 3 000 € grant to a member of The Finnish Association of Textile Artists TEXO
- one €3,000 grant to a member of the The Finnish Association of Interior Architects SIO
This year, grants will not be awarded from the Kaarina Aho Fund.
APPLICATION
Ornamo Foundation grants are applied for using an electronic application form.
The application form opens on 1.6.2025 and is open until 1.8.2025. (The last day of the application is 1.8.).
Note that the form is in Finnish but you are welcome to fill it in English if that is more convenient.
When will applicants be notified of grant decisions?
During September-October, we will inform all applicants of the decisions of the Board of Directors of the Finnish Association of Textile Artists TEXO (Mirja Tissari Fund, Eva and Maija Taimi Fund), the Board of Directors of the Finnish Association of Interior Architects SIO (Eva and Maija Taimi Fund) and the Ornamo Foundation's Scholarship Committee (General Fund).
